Fox News Host Leaves Network to Join ‘The View’ on ABC

BREAKING NEWS: Fox News just confirmed that it’s losing one of its most beloved hosts to ABC.

Abby Huntsman, the current co-host of Fox News’ weekend edition of ‘Fox & Friends’, will be joining Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Meghan McCain, and Joy Behar on ‘The View.’ Huntsman is a moderate conservative; her father, John Huntsman, was the ambassador to China and had a failed presidential bid in the 2012 election.

Huntsman will replace Sara Haines, who is leaving ‘The View’ to co-anchor the third hour of ‘Good Morning America.’

Huntsman is known for her likable demeanor and positive attitude. It’s unclear how she will get along with Behar, Hostin, and Goldberg–all three of whom are known to be bitter left-wingers.

Currently, Meghan McCain is the only right-leaning co-host on the show. With the edition of Huntsman, it will be more balanced.

Another additional note is that both Huntsman and McCain are daughters of prominent conservative leaders.

Fox News confirmed Huntsman’s departure to Mediaite.

Huntsman was among several conservatives being considered for the role. Also under consideration was Ana Navaro, a current CNN contributor and Never-Trumper.
