First Lady Melania Trump needed a break from mainstream media’s lies about her husband and porn star Stormy Daniels, so she has spent a few nights at a luxury hotel in Washington D.C. for a little “me” time.
News of a possible payoff to Daniels from Donald Trump’s lawyers first came from the Wall Street Journal, allegedly to cover up an inappropriate rendezvous between Donald and Daniels that occurred in 2006.
Last week, a celebrity equivalent to the National Enquirer published a 2011 interview with Daniels, in which she spoke about the alleged tryst that occurred in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, after a celebrity charity golf tournament.
Daniels previously denied that she had any type of sexual relationship with Donald, in a statement released by the president’s longtime personal lawyer Michael Cohen. The President has also denied any affair with the porn star.
A White House insider spoke with DailyMail.com and relayed that “it’s been upsetting and humiliating; her [Melania’s] relationship with President Trump has become strained.”
Just a few hours after DailyMail.com published a story about the alleged rendezvous, Melania’s spokesperson Stephanie Grisham sent out a blasting tweet regarding “main stream media.”
BREAKING:The laundry list of salacious & flat-out false reporting about Mrs. Trump by tabloid publications & TV shows has seeped into “main stream media” reporting. She is focused on her family & role as FLOTUS – not the unrealistic scenarios being peddled daily by the fake news.

Tabloid journalism on the internet and trash-TV shows jumped on the fact that Melania didn’t join the President on his trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, as was planned.
Grisham stated that Melania’s decision to stay in Washington was due to “scheduling and logistical issues,” as reported by CNN.
The First Lady made an unannounced appearance at the Holocaust Museum in D.C. on Thursday morning in advance of Saturday’s International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The appearance was not covered by reporters, however Melania shared the touching moment on Twitter.
Thank you @HolocaustMuseum for a powerful & moving tour that honors the millions of innocent lives lost, and educates us on the tragedies and effects of the holocaust. #WeRemember #AskWhy pic.twitter.com/za8MN6pKRZ

Daniels is using the scandal to her advantage, launching her “Make America Horny Again” tour in South Carolina.
